Structural Design
IID Group offers structural design services for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial type projects. Our designs are tailored for each project, and our knowledge of a variety of building materials offers our clients the ideal solution for their project. We provide services ranging from project inception through construction.
MEP/SP Design
Our holistic design approach has created design sets that are geared towards an efficient and rapid local Department of Building approval, which includes floor plans, specified riser diagrams, all equipment schedules, associated building construction details, and required energy code compliance analysis.
Energy Analysis
Minimizing energy use in all stages of a building’s life-cycle, making new and renovated buildings more comfortable and less expensive to run, and helping building users learn to be efficient too. We know that integrating renewable and low-carbon technologies to supply buildings’ energy needs, once their design has been maximized is the ultimate solution for a more effective building.
Building Commisioning
Properly commissioning a building leads to lower operations and maintenance costs and increased performance. Incorporating commissioning during design and construction can identify value engineering opportunities, reduce change orders, and improve the speed and quality of construction.
Design/Build
IID Group offers construction management and a full service General Contracting solution to our clients and/or partners. We realized that there are often times when there is a disconnect between the trades and the design professional when it comes to construction and remodeling. We are able to reduce the miscommunication by providing in house design and construction services to our clients.
Special Inspections
As special inspections have been mandated since the 2008 NYC Construction Codes, approved special inspection agencies have been an integral part of the building construction development world in NYC. In providing third-party impartial special inspection services for our client's true construction installation quality control can be achieved. Our goal is always to provide special inspections that protect the safety and investment of our client's project in a timely fashion to meet their needs.
